1970's Parade Entry Form- 2024

The Johnson County Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion would like to invite you to be a part of this year’s festivities. In order to reserve a space in the Parade this agreement MUST be completely filled out and signed.

All entries are welcome, and the theme this year is “1970's”. Prize for the best decorated entries. Preregistration can be done online, by email or begins day of @ 5:00pm at the town Gazebo- look for the sign in table.

The parade lineup at FUMC starts at 5:30 pm.

We would love to have you in the parade and hope to see you there!

NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED-- DONATIONS ALWAYS WELCOME!

** If you want your entry to be judged, you must be entered by Monday 8/19/24 5:30pm and in the line Wednesday 08/28/24, no later than 5:30 pm. **

(MUST SIGN FORM), hereinafter “Parade Entry” has permission to participate in the Johnson County Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion Parade at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

In consideration of allowing the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, “Parade Entry” agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Alvarado, their officers, agents, and/or employees and the Johnson County Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion officers, agents, and/or volunteers against and from any and all claims, lawsuits, damages, losses,

expenses and costs, brought for, or on account of, damage or loss of any item from participation in the Parade, or injuries to or death of any person or persons, including “Parade Entry,” or damage to or destruction of property, arising out of, or other occurrence during or in connection with, the foregoing event.
