** If you want your entry to be judged, you must be entered by Monday 9/28/26 5:30pm and in the line Wednesday 10/7/26, no later than 5:30 pm. **
(MUST SIGN FORM), hereinafter “Parade Entry” has permission to participate in the Johnson County Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion Parade at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
In consideration of allowing the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, “Parade Entry” agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Alvarado, their officers, agents, and/or employees and the Johnson County Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion officers, agents, and/or volunteers against and from any and all claims, lawsuits, damages, losses,
expenses and costs, brought for, or on account of, damage or loss of any item from participation in the Parade, or injuries to or death of any person or persons, including “Parade Entry,” or damage to or destruction of property, arising out of, or other occurrence during or in connection with, the foregoing event.
Parade Entry understands that candy CAN NOT be thrown from any moving vehicle. However, you may walk and pass out candy along the parade route. If caught throwing candy you will be disqualified from parade qualifiers.
